Producing a YA novel at the end of 2022. At which time attempting to use avalible exsisting mechanics to register on the blockchain was horrendous. We started selecting apps, dapps and other mechanisms realizing we can make the process much easier. The main young character in the novel was into NFTs, PFPS so we thought why not get the NFT community behind us to help us tackle our goal to help authors get connected.

Like any old school habits, it is hard to except change. Repetitive negative cycles plus the fear of the unknown. Authors hear from all the companies, who have the industry tied up with the publication of written works including songwriters and artists. To keep them away from anything to do with the blockchain. We will attempt to offer a clear prospective of the inner workings of the metaverse and try to simplify the registration process.

The field is wide open for many opportunities. Example using the main character or any exemplar from an authored work, turning them into NFTs, PFPs or Art as Promotional items to a achieve a wider range of financial opportunities and subscribers for an authored published work. The benefits of book sales plus earnings, promotional sales from character nfts, pfps, art assets available through the metaverse which is something not offered from within standard publishing firms.

Most old school publishing firms would lose an extreme amount of income if authors had a clearer view how to navagate registration on the blockchain. The matter of alignment of various applications is crucial to cover all aspects of on-chain presence.

Following the copyright initiative, a lot is going on at the moment with AI generated works including ChatGPT. Defining how a work should be registered apart from common authored methods using the aforesaid process or registering a work as equal considering the process as a parallel to common manual methods. Approaching this subject viewing it as a new form of artistic expression will help the copyright office resolve this conundrum. The outcome will have a significant effect for on-chain publishers navigating creators through the registration process on web3. And should software be developed to identify artwork or written works that was AI generated and should any be rated differently.

Our plan has been in the works for over a year now. We slowly but surely have been laying out a strategy to impliment the best working roadmap of avalible apps, dapps and programs which will lead into a seamless authored on-chain registration experience. A year ago, it took some sixty five procedures to implement our goal. Now we have adjusted down to around fifteen procedures. Making progress, we are a small team with big ideas. Eager to offer to the first handful of authors the ability to register on-chain without headaches or heartaches.
